SUPER QUICK AND EASY CHICKEN TIKKA PIZZA

SUPER QUICK AND EASY CHICKEN TIKKA PIZZA

As a multiracial and multicultural family, we love to make fusion recipes. This fusion recipe is super easy to make and beyond delicious.  My husband is South Asian and he raved that this pizza was spot on when it came to Chicken Tikka flavor.  In his own words, “I, Chicken Tikka Masala’d this pizza-lol”.  Give it a try and let us know how this anytime recipe turned out for you.

SUPER EASY CHICKEN TIKKA PIZZA

1 Rotisserie Chicken Cut Into Cube Pieces

2 Tablespoons Garam Masala

1/2 Cup Plain Yogurt (you can also do 1/4 plain yogurt and 1/4 cup of heavy cream for a richer flavor)

14 oz Can Tomato Sauce

1/2 Teaspoon Black Pepper

Salt To Taste
1 Tablespoon Of Ginger (we mince it if fresh and also use ginger powder if fresh is not available)

2-3 Tablespoons Of Garlic (garlic powder or minced)

2 Teaspoons Of Paprika (we used smoked paprika)

2 Tablespoons Of Olive oil or Butter/Ghee

1/3 Cup of Diced Green Peppers

1/3 Cup of Diced Red Onions
1 Cup of Mozzarella Cheese
Pre-made Pizza Crust Or Dough (follow baking instructions provided); interested in how we make paleo pizza crust? Write us and let us know.

Optional Toppings
1-2 Serrano Peppers De-seeded And Minced
1/4 Cup of Cilantro
1/4 Cup of Feta Cheese

Preparation

Lightly sauté the diced green peppers and onions in 1 tablespoon of olive oil or butter/ghee in a medium skillet over medium heat. Remove from heat and set aside.

Place 1 tablespoon of olive oil or butter/ghee in a saucepan.  Add in the ginger, garlic, paprika, and garam masala, stirring, until fragrant about 2 minutes.  Stir in the tomato sauce, rotisserie chicken, and yogurt. Let simmer for approximately 10 minutes.  Add in black pepper and salt to taste.

Pre-heat the oven to 450F. Place the pizza crust on a pizza pan and brush lightly with olive oil. Spread the sauce and chicken onto the pizza crust. Sprinkle 1/2 cup of cheese.  Top it with the sliced onions, and green peppers and the remaining cheese.

Bake the pizza for 8-10 minutes. Remove the pizza from the pan when it is done and garnish with cilantro, serrano peppers, and feta cheese.

Enjoy!
